We had an idea to set up a coffee shop to service the community of Edenvale, something a little different to all the franchises that seem to be everywhere, something homely, friendly and welcoming.
We had three very important criteria that we insisted on getting right- to serve great coffee, provide fresh tasty meals from an ever changing menu and to create a really comfortable relaxed atmosphere.
On the 18 January 2013 Red Door Cafe was born.
Since then we have continued to evolve and increase our offering, we currently include Paleo and Vegan menus and have a wonderful range of cakes, pastries and fresh homemade breads.
Look out for our monthly functions and special events.
We are a popular function venue and also have the recently opened Tea Room available as a second venue for functions and business meetings.
We are licensed and provide free WiFi.
We love what we do!
We are ‘the nearest thing to hip’

Havana Nights – Cuban sharing meals and cocktails – usually on the last Friday of each month
Cuban cuisine is a blend of Spanish, African, and Caribbean cuisines. Some Cuban recipes share spices and techniques with Spanish and African cooking, with some Caribbean influence in spice and flavor. This results in a blend of the several different cultural influences, During colonial times, Cuba was an important port for trade, and many Spaniards who lived there brought their culinary traditions with them.
